Wilfred Ndidi was impressive as Leicester City beat Burnley 2-0 at the Turf Moor On Wednesday.
It was Ndidi’s 17th Premier League appearance of the season and 26th match all all competitions.
The Nigerian powerhouse kept his place in the starting eleven and was solid in the middle of the park for the Foxes all the game.
The Super Eagles star didn’t only protect the leaky Leicester City’s defense, he also joined the attack when he has to.
At the end of the game, Ndidi was given 7/10 rating by Sky Sports and only Harvey Barnes and Marc Albrighton got more (8).
Meanwhile, Ndidi’s compatriots Kelechi Iheanacho and Ademola Lookman didn’t get taste of the action.
Lookman who recently switched allegiance to Nigeria from England watched the encounter from the bench, while Kelechi Iheanacho wasn’t listed at all.
Substitutes, James Maddison and Jamie Vardy came off the bench and scored a goal each to seal a 2-0 win at Turf Moore.
The victory ended Leicester’s run of over two months without a win in the Premier League.
The Brendan Rodgers side also celebrated a first Premier League win – and first clean sheet – since their 1-0 victory over Liverpool on December 28.
Ndidi and his mates will return to the pitch again on Saturday — when they take on struggling Leeds United at the King Power Stadium.
